For Sale: Super Tuesday or, “So I guess the primaries just don’t sell so well…”

For Sale: Super Tuesday

Editor’s note: For Sale will be a regular feature highlighting what the auction traffic is like on eBay in relation to particular events.

Every Super Tuesday, pundits and politicians stick their heads out of their holes to predict whether we’ll have four more years of partisan bickering or….four more years of partisan bickering. Always a tough call.

Anyway, pickings are pretty slim on eBay for “Super Tuesday” auctions.

22 completed listings in the last two weeks (9 Sold)
19 active listings plus 5 store items

Several Obama buttons (Superbama is my favorite), one Rudy bumper sticker, couple of crappy domain names and the ever popular Dominatrix Hillary.

As always, any links to eBay items will eventually die when eBay removes them from its servers. Any statistics may change within just a couple of hours.

The Submit button may not be appearing or working correctly in IE6. I would suggest upgrading to IE7 or Firefox 2 for full functionality (I'm still looking for a solution to this if anyone knows one).

My favorite that I’ve seen is a t-shirt that says “I Miss Bill.”
But I voted for Obama today. Yay!

Ah, you’re in Missouri, you can vote. We caucus in Kansas. I’ve never registered with any party and to attend a caucus, you have to. The Democrats will let you register at the door, so I’m debating doing that just to participate, but I really prefer to be an independent.

I miss Bill, too! Last I saw him he was still sitting on the steps of Capitol Hill. School House Rock for the win! Now if someone misses Mr. Clinton, I’d suggest that they turn on the television to any news channel any day of the week and wait 3-5 minutes, where he can be easily found bickering with his wife’s competitors, journalists, small animals and furniture. There are days where I see more footage of him on tv than of the Clinton who is actually running for office.
